“Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations.” Depending on your situation right now, this statement may bring hope to your mind or may evoke anxious thoughts. Looking past what is right in front of you may seem insurmountable. I get it.

I am so excited to meet you! My name is Robin Hengel. Creating a safe grace space where people can invest time finding truths about how God sees them, how to reclaim lost joy, walk in freedom and learn to live the abundant life in Christ. I would love to help you turn those difficult challenges into opportunities to gain experience and grow.

In all honesty, I know the pain divorce can bring and have navigated the challenging waters of single parenting. Often, I felt too ashamed to ask anyone for help much less the God who I thought I had disappointed. During those years, I felt alone and made wrong relationship decisions which led to a choice that affected many aspects of my life for so long. Shame, guilt, depression, anxiety, and loneliness all became part of my daily life which caused a spiraling down effect. I finally reached out for help to find forgiveness and healing.

“He sent His word and healed them.” and “He will make the storm calm and bring you into your desired haven. “Psalm 107 says. What is your desired haven? It is more joy, becoming unstuck, freedom, new career, new relationship, holding place for grieving in the broken places to find peace, learning to live victoriously, grieving a loved one’s addiction, or uncovering the truth about fear? I would love to walk along side you, as we seek this haven, a place of safety or refuge.

If you feel like life has passed you by, know that you are never too old to follow a dream. In my forties, I finished my bachelor’s degree in counseling from Liberty University, then a few years later, become a Board-certified Christian life and mental health coach with American Association of Christian Counselors. God has also opened the door for me to be an author, a speaker, a wife, a mother to three grown sons and a Gigi to my grandsons.

It would be an honor and privilege to hear your story, help equip you to navigate these opportunities well and empower you to step into that life that you desire.

You matter! Your story is important! You have a purpose! You are loved!
